What to Expect

Here's everything you need to know to feel at home on your first visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

    WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Come as you are! You'll find people wearing everything from jeans to business casual. We're more concerned with meeting you than with what you wear.

    HOW LONG ARE THE GATHERINGS?

Our gatherings last about 75 minutes and include worship music, practical teaching, and occasional special elements.

    WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Free parking is available at all our campuses. At our Salem location, we have designated first-time guest parking near the main entrance, and our parking team will help guide you.

    WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?

Our welcome team will greet you and help you find your way. If you have kids, they'll direct you to the children's check-in area. Otherwise, they'll show you to our worship center and answer any questions you have.

    WHAT'S THE WORSHIP LIKE?

Our worship is contemporary and engaging. The band leads us in a mix of current worship songs and timeless hymns. Feel free to participate as much or as little as you're comfortable. If you prefer a more traditional or sensory-friendly environment, our 9:30 AM Traditions gathering offers a quieter, more reflective worship experience.

    WHAT'S THE TEACHING LIKE?

You'll hear practical, Bible-based messages that apply to real life. Our teaching is designed to be relevant whether you're new to faith or have been following Jesus for years.

    IS THERE COFFEE?

Yes! Stop by our coffee station for complimentary coffee and tea. It's a great place to meet people before or after service.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS & TEENS?

Kids ministry is available during every service. Teens (6th-12th grade) are welcome to join the main service or attend Peoples Youth, our dedicated youth ministry.

ARE YOU ACCESSIBLE FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES?

Yes, our facilities are wheelchair accessible, and we have dedicated parking spaces available. We also offer a Traditions gathering at 9:30 AM on Sundays, which provides a more sensory-friendly worship environment for those who prefer a quieter, more reflective setting.

    WHAT'S AVAILABLE BETWEEN GATHERINGS?

Our lobby is designed for connection. Grab a coffee, meet some new friends, and check out our Next Steps area to learn more about getting involved.

    HOW CAN I LEARN MORE?

Fill out a Connect Card at the Welcome Center, and one of our team members will reach out to answer any additional questions and help you get connected.

WHAT IF I’M NOT SURE ABOUT FAITH YET?

That's okay! We're a safe place to explore questions about God and faith. No question is too small or too big to us.

First Visitors Check-In

When you first arrive at Peoples Church you will register/check in your children at the Kid’s check-in kiosks, where team members can assist you and print off their name tags. You will receive two name tags, one for your children to wear and one for pick-up. It is important that you keep each child’s pickup ticket, as it is a security measure taken to insure all pickups are safe! A team member will then show you to your children’s classrooms, where they will be checked in to their appropriate classrooms.
