Hometown: Olympia, Washington
Family Info: My wife Michele and I have been married for 31
wonderful years. We have three great kids. Aaron is 29 and is a chef; Alex is
26 and is the first of our kids to marry. His wife Carissa is a beautiful addition
to our family. They are attending school at WSU; and Ellie is our 21 year old
daughter. She keeps us young and always makes our life interesting. She attends
Chemeketa.
How did you come to PC?
The Lord led Michele and I to the Salem area and Peoples Church. We have made
both our home.
What is the best thing about your role at PC?
I enjoy one-on-one ministry. God gave me a calling and a vision long ago to
reach out and meet people where they were at and bring them into a closer walk
with Him. Pastoral care gives me the opportunity to meet and pray with God’s
people.
What is something few people know about you?
I am a certified bike instructor which means I get paid to excerise!
What do you do on your free time?
I love spending time with Michele, family and friends. I enjoy golfing and
fishing.
Favorite Saying
'Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will
be added to you'
Favorite Movie
I like movies that inspire – real people, real happenings. My recent favorite “The
Greatest Game Ever Played” about amateur golfer, Francis Ouimet, who won
the 1913 U.S. Open.
Favorite Music
I like all kinds of music but thoroughly enjoy musical artists that sing with
feeling and conviction. My favorite music Christian Blues.
Favorite Food
Steak and we’d love to come to dinner!
