Job Title: Women's Ministries [ bonnie.erickson@peopleschurch.com ] [ 503.304.4000 ] Scott & Bonnie Erickson have been married for 34 years. Scott is a native of Chicago, IL, and Bonnie grew up in Hampton, VA. They are both graduates of Evangel College in Springfield, MO. Scott has also earned his M.A. from Luther Rice Seminary in Jacksonville, FL. Scott has been in ministry with Bonnie for 34 years. They have pastored growing churches in Virginia and Maryland, and since October, 2000, have been serving as Senior Pastor of Peoples Church. They are parents of two grown children. International ministry has taken them for seminars, crusades, and teaching assignments for national leaders to 43 nations. Their ministry is marked by dependence upon the Holy Spirit, relevant teaching from the Word of God, and practical application mixed with humor. Bonnie has a heart for ladies, of all ages, stages, and walks of life. She has a strong desire to assist women in reaching their full potential in Christ, allowing Him to work out His perfect will each day, and making an impact in the lives around them. She loves introducing and or connecting women with women (sisters in the Lord, ministry partners, best friends) who have not yet met! Bonnie began her early married years as a school teacher while serving in pastoral ministry alongside her husband. As the church in which they served began to experience much growth, coupled with the call of God upon her life, she began ministries for children, music and for women. Bonnie has served as a Women's Ministries Director for 25 years and has been a featured speaker for international crusades, women's conferences and Bible Studies. Bonnie continues to serve in pastoral ministry with her husband and as Women's Ministries Director at Peoples Church. |
