Salem’s own Christian Singles Inc. (CSI: 2.4) is making a big statement about the concern they have for folks in the Northwest and around the world. “We are committed to making a statement to our troops that they are remembered and appreciated” said Pastor Sam Miller, leader of CSI: 2.4. “There are military personnel from many area churches and local neighborhoods who deserve every bit of support we can give them both now and once they return. This sending of gift boxes is just a small way of saying we are with you.” he concluded.
A contingency of Single Adults from CSI: 2.4 also recently participated in one of the Habitat for Humanity homes being built in South Salem. “One of our goals is to make a difference in local arenas as well as around the world”, Miller added.
In addition to ministry projects CSI: 2.4 provides numerous opportunities for Single Adults to gather. There are groups meeting at homes weekly as well as numerous “big” events involving the entire CSI community.
CSI: 2.4 “A family of Single Adult friends” meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings of each month in the Living Room of Peoples Church,. 4500 Lancaster Drive, in Salem. Their meetings begin at 7:00 PM and conclude 90 minutes later followed by dessert, coffee, and great conversation.
